Status of Spin Physics - Experimental Summary

The purpose of this article is to summarize the experimental status of spin physics based on the material presented at the Third Circum-Pan-Pacific Symposium on High Energy Spin Physics. A total of 12 experimental talks covering recent results and future plans at DESY, JLab, SLAC, and RHIC-spin were presented at this Symposium. These talks successfully convey the sense of excitement in this field through the presentation of many interesting recent experimental results, as well as exciting prospects for future experiments. Several excellent review articles on high-energy spin physics have been published recently. Many new experimental results were presented at this Symposium for the first time, indicating that spin physics has become one of the most active areas of research in nuclear and particle physics.
